About us

OUR MISSION

To inspire and educate individuals and organisations to fulfil their time-keeping responsibilities to society. We strive to unite the nation behind the core belief  "Late is as good as never" to overcome the punctuality challenges of today and tomorrow.

OUR HISTORY

The Stop Lateness Campaign was initiated in October 2004 when two Royal Mail Special Delivery® staff, chatting over lunch, realised their common passion for punctuality. After a short but heated discussion they began to formulate a campaign to put an end to tardiness, which they coined "the cultural cancer of our age".

Because of the nature of some of their earlier underground campaign work to stop lateness, the identity of the founder members is currently kept confidential.

The campaign has existed in various forms since then. As more and more of the general public heard the economical affects of lateness, and realised that there might be an alternative; a cure; a way to stop lateness, so the campaign has gained momentum.

A milestone for the campaign has been the official endorsement by the employers of the campaign's founder members – Royal Mail Special Delivery®. Of course, it's a natural development: Royal Mail Special Delivery® – by guaranteeing their 9am and 1pm deliveries – believe that late is as good as never, so endorsing a campaign to stop lateness, set up by their staff with their inherent zeal for timeliness, seemed the logical thing to do.

But the endorsement has given the campaign a new lease of life, seeing the punctual launch of this, the campaign's new website.

COMING SOON

We've joined forces with Dr. Eva Gudörson of the Pünktlich Clinic, Düsseldorf, who, has successfully developed a cure to common lateness. And there are a number of other initia-tives in the pipeline, so make sure you register to join the campaign so we can keep you fully up to date.

In the meantime, keep punctual, stay on time, and don't be late.
